starbucks  +  refresh

The core Starbucks At Home product portfolio hadn't seen a refresh in design for years on eRetail, so it was finally time to put it into the scope and get it done. We began the project in 2020 by refreshing all the below-the-fold content, and then hustled to create the above-the-fold content in 2021. Working closely with our clients, we designed the pages in a way that the design could adapt to the continuous evolvement of the Starbucks brand look and feel. The project finally came to completion in 2022, getting the digital shelf side of Starbucks up to par with its modern in-store feel.

THE DESIGN JOURNEY

1. below the fold

We revamped all the enhanced content, or below-the-fold content, in 2020. On the grand scale of scope, this was a considerably smaller task to take on and allowed the time to make the design system right.

From there, we took on the much larger endeavor of revamping the content above-the-fold. This is content that needs to be tweaked for every size and every retailer. So, imagine just about 300+ variations!
